Curtain wall facade for the Telefónica Dictel office building in Madrid.
This building located at 82 Don Ramón de la Cruz Street was a starting point unbeatable for Riventi. The first major work, under the new company seal, was carried out giving all the best by the technical team and contributing the knowledge accumulated in its long careerThe result could not have been better, and both the façade and the skylights still reflect all that effort today.
Technically, it was a major commitment on the part of both the property, the technical management and the construction company, as it required a large dimension modulation which was masterfully resolved by our technical department. It also had various elements with added difficulty, as they were outside the standards of glass facades that had been made to date. These elements are: corner curvature with a double-skin facade, and the offset of the plans longitudinal facades on the envelope of the aforementioned curved corner. The careful detail of this point is the fruit of the rigorous coordination between the different technicians who carried out the project.
Another key to this building was the choice of glass, transparent in the curvature and mirrored on the longitudinal facades, which sought to integrate the building into its surroundings, with the reflection of the neighbouring buildings at different levels of intensity and the privacy required by the property for the functions carried out there without reducing the entry of natural light.
The property has currently been acquired by Colonial Real Estate for marketing.
