Faes Farma facade
The envelope made for the building of Faes Pharma, with its large size (285x82m floor plan), has been one of the largest projects carried out by Riventi in recent years, with a total surface area of over 6000m2.
The project carried out by IDOM shows a special solution of double skin facade, with lacquered aluminum slats of special dimensions (50x745x4300mm) forming a exterior lattice which flies two meters in front of the structural curtain wall enclosure plane.
Both the glass and the different opaque panels have been fixed to the profiles through gluing with structural silicone to different frames depending on the dimensional needs of each element, which arrive fully assembled to the site. On this occasion, a series of brackets have been fixed through the open joint to the structure of the building, specifically to an auxiliary structure built for this purpose. Subsequently, a series of spars are fixed to the brackets to support the prefabricated horizontal sunshades of the outer lattice.
On the Faes Farma façade a industrialized solution which allows the execution of the different parts of the façade in record time, differentiating the components between the main enclosure and the exterior lattice. exterior lattice It is composed of horizontal parasols with a flight of two meters, on which the large vertical slats, using a mechanical fixing system.
This work has had a great impact on specialized media.
