GRC Facade APE Group

GRC Facade APE Group. The Ape Group showroom It was designed using oblique and broken lines "with the aim of breaking with the hegemony of the traditional octagonal shapes so present in the world of ceramics and of showing the innovative character of the company." On the outside, it offers a unique composition, with a geometry that combines the folds of the façade planes composed of a composition of polygons that alternates glazing and opaque areas.

The unique geometry of the façade combines different folds composed of polygons that alternate glazing and opaque areas. The great novelty in this façade is the incorporation of GRC panels (“Glass Reinforced Concrete”/Micro concrete reinforced with alkali-resistant glass fiber) on the facade, through the use of R50SG system with 70mm profiles. In addition, a Special machining of the profiles, with variable inclination cuts, which seek to obtain a special volumetric geometry. Riventi has a machining machine for large parts that allows for the creation of skews to any type of profile.

It is worth highlighting the versatility and homogeneous mixture of GRC that allows it to be moulded with great freedom, carrying out pieces of different shapes and finishes. This material, increasingly in demand by architects and engineers, has excellent physical and technical qualities, which guarantee its durability and resistance. The white colour of the panels contrasts with the blueish tone of the glazing,

In addition, the Ape Group building is the first newly built building in the province that has the Breeam certification, a prestigious construction seal that certifies the highest environmental demands.
