It's been just over a year since the construction of the new Campofrío plant in Burgos began. Nueva Bureba has made good progress and is scheduled to open soon. At Riventi we have been working against the clock to have the new façade of the administrative building and one of the warehouses ready.
We are very pleased to be able to participate in the recovery of one of the pillars of our local industry, which after the fire that occurred in November 2014 filled the future of many Burgos residents with uncertainty, to the tune of “Campofrío is burning down on us.”
On the second anniversary of the fatal fire, the new headquarters is a reality. Workers are already returning to their jobs in a new factory that has all the technological advances of the sector and in which safety has been a main factor.
The past, present and future of our city will continue to be linked to this company, which continues to invest in Burgos as the central point of its growth strategy. The future construction of the Centre for Research in Agri-Food Industries (CENIAGRA) in collaboration with the University of Burgos will become a benchmark and will concentrate Campofrío's R&D at a European level.
