Our History defines who we are
Throughout our history, numerous milestones and recognitions have defined who we are. At RIVENTI, we make the most unique and avant-garde façade projects a reality, just as a tailor makes made-to-measure suits, through a process that combines skill and technology to provide personalized solutions to the challenges posed by the most demanding architects.
A meticulous work methodology and technical expertise have forged a solid reputation for executing works recognized with various national and international awards.
Umaran Metal Prefabricated
Adelaido Rilova, after his time as a designer in a Barcelona industry, dedicated to the manufacture of mechanical parts, ended up at the company Prefabricados Metálicos Umaran, one of the pioneering and most important companies in Spain in façade engineering. Thanks to her talent and work capacity, Rilova soon became part of the firm's project team.
1976 Torres Colón (Madrid)
In the 70s, Adelaido became team leader, coordinating more than 25 people who carried out works as important as the Colón Towers in Madrid. The entire development of the project, in direct collaboration with the architects, until its material execution, was led by Adelaido, achieving outstanding and recognized works throughout the world.
80s Viconti Facade
Rilova travels throughout Europe to learn about and investigate the latest advances and thus be able to continue being a benchmark in the sector. Viconti is born, a Continuous Glass curtain wall, made with structural silicone that revolutionized this industry.
Rilova Facades Ligeras SA
Adelaido, now head of R&D projects, had a dream; create his own company, but Ángel Umaran did not want to lose one of his most valuable workers and they agreed to create a company at 50%, Rilova Fachadas Ligeras SA For more than a decade with this new project, Adelaido achieved success throughout the country, signing a great number of façade installations. However, Umaran's death was the trigger for a crisis in the corporation.
Riventi is created
In 2000, Adelaido created Riventi with his children, and since 2014 Guillermo Rilova assumed the executive management of the company, which achieved great recognition throughout the country by carrying out works of international prestige.
Isozaki Towers
Riventi carries out a modular façade system unique in the world with the integration of practicable carpentry towards the interior.

Best Glass Facade
Riventi has always opted for innovative solutions that have made it a pioneer in the sector. This was evident in the administrative building of the General Directorate of State Heritage in Madrid, which won the Best Glass Facade Award in 2014, was awarded the COAM Award and won the Veteco-Asefave Award for Solar Protection, both in 2016.
AMPLITUDE, Are you inside?
Riventi has never abandoned its passion for innovation, and in 2016 it launched AMPLITUDE, a large window with a novel rolling system developed and integrated by Guillermo Rilova, heir, without a doubt, to his father's concern to always be at the forefront of the sector. This innovative system provides smooth sliding without motorization and easy maintenance. The aluminum frame is reduced to its minimum expression, obtaining a window with imperceptible lines that eliminates the limits between interior and exterior, where light is the protagonist and in which spaces expand to infinity.
EPD Environmental Product Declaration
Riventi obtains the first curtain wall EPD certificate (Environmental Product Declaration), after carrying out the Life Cycle Analysis of its systems in accordance with ISO and UNE-EN standards certified by Tecnalia under the international EPD system. Femebur Award 2018
Riventi receives the 2018 Femebur Award for Business Excellence. The Federation of Metal Businessmen of the province of Burgos highlighted innovation as the great value of the company to face the challenges of the sector.
Veteco-Asefave Award for Best Facade by the Biocruces Institute
Within the framework of the delivery of the II Architecture Awards with eÑe, the Veteco-Asefave Award in the category of Best Facade for the new headquarters of BioCruces Institute, to the architects Gonzalo Carro and Fernando Garrido.
Bizkaia Tower
In 2019, it was 50 years since the construction of the recently named Banco Vizcaya tower in Bilbao. Bizkaia Tower. The total rehabilitation of the building, with 10,000 square meters of façade, represents a new milestone in the history of Riventi, facing the challenge of faithfully returning its original appearance to this icon of the city. The recovery of these plates is one of the operations that has been most valued, since the high cost, both economic and environmental, of making new pieces made it advisable to recover them.
20th anniversary
On the occasion of our 20th anniversary, the publication “Riventi, passion for innovation 2000-2020” was published, which includes a list of our most significant works up to that time.
Bizkaia Tower Awarded
The comprehensive renovation of the Bizkaia Tower in Bilbao has been recognised with various national and international awards. We would like to highlight the 2021 NAN Award for the best rehabilitation and renovation project, but also: - Special Mention. International Architecture Awards 2022. Chicago Athenaeum - Award. Architecture Masterprize 2022. Category: Restoration and Renovation - Award. World Design Awards 2022. Category: Corporate Design Built. We are very proud of the work carried out for this great project and we are very happy that all the effort is recognised. The Idom team, especially Gonzalo Carro and Fernando Garrido, carried out a great project and we are very grateful that they counted on us to carry out the rehabilitation of the façade. FAES FARMA facade in Derio
After several months of hard work, the façade of FAES FARMA in Derio has been completed. Various specialist media have published the result, all of which highlight the abstract image of the building within the landscape thanks to the façade design using large-format slats. The definition and installation of this industrialised façade has undoubtedly been one of the most important recent challenges for Riventi.

KARMEN KITCHEN & BAR
Architects Enrique Jerez Abajo and Rebeca Piedra were awarded in the XIII Architecture Awards of Castilla y León, organized by COACYLE and the Official College of Architects of León, in the category of interior spaces, with the project carried out for KARMEN KITCHEN & BAR. The jury highlighted the "excellent and complex design and execution of the exterior carpentry that defines the façade, and the simplicity of the result of a very elaborate architecture"

FAE INNOVATION AWARD
FAE INNOVATION 2024 The Confederation of Business Associations of Burgos (FAE) and the Caja de Burgos Foundation have awarded RIVENTI the FAE Innovation 2024 award in the small business category. The 14th Edition of the FAE Innovation Awards will be presented on September 26 at the Nexo building of the Caja de Burgos Foundation. These awards recognize companies that demonstrate a high level of commitment to Innovation, Research and Development, and their objective is to make visible the work that the Burgos productive fabric is carrying out in this field.

This new catalogue contains a careful selection of photographs and technical drawings that will certainly help to better understand the operation of the different systems and their possibilities in each of their applications.
